Stucco Homes and Designs for Every Project.
Brick cutter:
Scaffolding
At Bell’s Creative Design, we specialize in stucco systems, cultured stone, and simulated stucco brick finishes throughout West Coast Florida, delivering high-end exterior finishes built for durability, realism, and long-term performance. In this featured project, our team completed a large-scale simulated brick wall installation for Mark Cand Samson General Contracting, showcasing how traditional stucco craftsmanship can rival the appearance of true.
Project Overview: Large-Scale Simulated Brick Installation
This project involved a massive exterior wall measuring nearly 90 feet long and 28 feet tall. The structure was constructed from CMU block and required extensive preparation before any simulated brick layout could begin.
Rather than using thin brick veneers or prefabricated panels, this wall was created entirely by hand using stucco, delivering a realistic brick appearance at a fraction of the cost of traditional masonry.
Surface Preparation & Waterproofing (Florida-Approved Method)
Before any finish work began, proper surface prep was critical. Florida’s climate demands systems that resist moisture intrusion, heat, and long-term exposure.
Our process included:
This waterproof base ensures the stucco system performs long-term under Florida weather conditions, including heat, humidity, and seasonal storms.
Three-Coat Stucco System for Simulated Brick
Once waterproofing was complete, we installed a three-coat stucco system, consisting of:
This traditional approach allows full control over depth, joint spacing, and texture — essential for creating a convincing simulated brick finish.
Hand-Crafted Brick Detailing & Color Blending
To achieve a truly authentic brick appearance, we custom-blended four additional colors using cement dye. Every individual “brick” was hand-textured and hand-colored, creating natural variation and depth.
Architectural details included:
No shortcuts were taken on this project — no stamps, no prefab panels, just skilled craftsmanship.
Traditional Tools, Real Craftsmanship
All detailing was completed using traditional plaster tools, including:
This hands-on approach allows us to match true masonry patterns while maintaining flexibility in design and finish.
Why Choose Simulated Brick Over Traditional Masonry?
Simulated brick offers several advantages for homeowners, builders, and commercial projects:
When installed correctly, simulated brick delivers long-term performance without sacrificing curb appeal.
